For the training centre's that require training https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/. Please checkout the weber training adhesives. A cool option for training centre's you'll find I think.

I posted this because as far as I am aware Mapei don't do training https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/.

Used these addy's when I trained at PTS Dan. Very useful for when you have finished as they don't fully set, enabling clean up to be much easier.

That's the aim mate. Wish they'd have been around when I was in the training game. Little old me had to scrape off the tiles of ALL students as we didn't use to make the guys do it. Sometimes I'd have to do it twice per course, depending on their experience level and how much they stuck on. Hundreds of meters a week scraping of tiles. Used to hate it.

We didn't use it at NETT, just standard tubbed addy for the walls, then we got to knock the lot off and scrap it at the end :D I suppose it was cost effective for Darren that way, he did show us the training addy for a spell on floors IIRC.

I was just reading Diamonds home page and had a chuckle to myself about how you could stitch someone up with this gear and then this thread pops up! how weird! I think they use BAL

In association with the U.K'S NO1 https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ Manufacturer, we have now introduced a specialist non setting https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ which works in the exact same way as standard adhesives but allows our students to complete FULL JOB SPECS with no time restraints!!! This allows us to assess full projects and also gives our students the satisfaction of seeing completed work which can then be added to their course portfolio.

IIRC Nett used PCI which was made with limestone instead of cement, but apparantly Webber also do it.

Lambeth College used some make where the addy didn't go off!

Oh, yes, sand & cement to learn to lay floor tiles................:mad2:
