I just realised this today, so apologies if it's a bit of "stupid" on my part.

When coming back to a row of tiles from the previous day, where the customer / builder etc has kindly kicked out and broken all the clips you left carefully in place for continuing tomorrow's work, I found that my multitool with carbide bit is perfect for cutting a fresh slot in the https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ bed under the tile so you can slot in a fresh clip wherever needed.

I wish I'd figured that one out ages ago!

Saw a YT video doing this a couple of months back. Well worth mentioning. Not done it myself.

Never seen that one before tbh, I’ve just been using a concave blade in a Stanley knife which so far has done the trick with ease for me.

If you use Biogel No limits, you could return after two months and scrape the https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ out with a toothbrush :D

Have found it easy enough to prise out the clip base and insert a new one, l find a scraper with the help of a hammer at times does the trick.

I’ve tried various methods for clipping tiles the next day, and the most successful I find is putting off cuts in at the end of the day.
It also appears to eliminate those tiny bubbles of https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ that appear overnight either side of the clip which prevent the new piece butting up correctly the next day.
