Thoughts on this floor ? - Tile Advice

can anyone offer any words of wisdom about this entrance way? It’s edwardian and it needs tiling along with the hallway of the house, with original style, it’s like one piece centres with a boarder ? I thought terrazzo but now I don’t think it is.

It could be a composite like rubber crumb!
Best check it’s not a listed building/entrance.

Andy I also think it’s terrazzo. I’d prime it with Isomat supergrund primer and level if needs be and tile it.

Speaking with @3_fall this morning for bitumen he suggested the above never used it but must be good. Keracoll do the sealer for metal etc ? Same old faces on here answering lol

they are cement tiles with a terrazzo layer of about 1 cm.
there are still many factories in my area.
it is sanded on the spot after laying.
it's a shame to cover it, just polish it and come back like new.
I usually give a scratch with sandpaper or similar,
because it's a material with wax.
primergrip of Mapei or similar, self-leveling if needed and to lay.

Just cleaned up and used H40 No Limits. It all needs to come up but it's a holiday rental and it's hardly ever empty so I just have to keep patching up. Luckily there's loads of spare tiles in the garage.
I think most of the problem is that they're all butted up, no grout gap. Plus the fact that they're not back buttered and a cheap adhesive was used.
