Remove the cuts and replace with a piece of timber
Ooh, good idea, thanks. I need to totally waterproof it first though - that step gets wet quite often.
Or find some form or metal or plastic trim instead?

I do have another small problem in this room (mentioned here: Partially tiled-over wetroom floor - how to seal where tiles meet vinyl? - https://www.tilersforums.com/threads/partially-tiled-over-wetroom-floor-how-to-seal-where-tiles-meet-vinyl.85789/), so I could use the same stuff?
