Hi all
With been new to this tiling game, looking for some reading material, ref etc, finding hard to get hold of anything, have got hold of an old tile setting book by Michael Byrne, unfortunaly is American, while some of the info is the same, setting out etc, but would like ta get my hands on a few good ref books.
Thanks in advance.

I totally agree there is whole heap of info and I'm sure every aspect has been covered on this top tiler forum, but to have a something to thump through, mark and ref etc would also be good.

;);)

British Standards, free from the library. There's a thread on it somewhere you can access it online for free.

Ah yes Dan, I do remember the Tile tolerance debate, I have received my lovely card from Newcastle library, all the new members thanks to you should keep it open for another year at least...!
I will have to take some time out to read over the BS soon, should make for an interesting read.
What I have noticed when looking for training/technique type of books there's a lot of city & guilds books for many construction trades, including plastering, which I shall be looking into purchasing, but no where can find similar for tiling, imo its for more technical so there should be one out there, maybe I'm just missing it

i suggest you get a life
reading tiling books what ever next
What do you suggest he reads, some Roald Dahl? As much as I enjoy a cup of tea and a read of Fantastic Mr Fox, it's not going to help me learn much about sticking squares to things ;)
