Hi all,
I need some advice on wall preparation for wall tiles in a small en-suite.
I’ve completely gutted our en-suite bathroom including the tiles on the walls and floor. However, while removing the wall tiles from one wall I discovered a patch of plaster is loose (approx 3ft x 2ft). Also some of the skim came off on other parts of the wall. I’m planning on removing all the loose plaster back to the brick and patching with wickes one coat plaster. What I’m not sure about is if this can also be used for reskimming the other patches of wall. Does it stick to bonding? I believe I can’t tile directly to bonding.
The area of wall in question is behind the toilet, so will not be soaked but will be subject to humidity.

Any help much appreciated!
