Hi all, I'm David, retired from teaching and now part way through renovating a property. I have tiled, both wall and floor, in the past but just preparing to try 300 x 600 porcelain wall tiles for the first time (just like Ian Marsh who joined the forum earlier today) so will be reading posts here with interest. I've already had useful information from Ian's thread. I'm sure this will prove a useful and informative forum helping in preventing me from making too many costly mistakes.

Welcome David. All I can say is ask, listen, learn & enjoy. We have on this forum some of the best tilers in the UK who are happy to impart our knowledge for free. Doesn't get much better then that!

Hey David, welcome to the forum.

It's funny I'd guessed your reason for posting as soon as I'd started to read your post.
It's great that one post leads to more members finding a voice and taking the plunge to join in,
thank you!

Good to have you here.
