I put fixed head arm outlet 3 inches from ceiling, last day of job putting shower together realised the arm had a 4 inch drop :(.

Hole cut in ceiling, filled and painted after got me over that one.
So the showerhead was still two low?

3 inches from ceiling for a fixed ARM is more or less as high as you would go anyway..

No it was fine, it had high ceilings, was an extension in a Victorian house.
