hey, people.

what's the best process for laying 300mm handmade terracotta floor tiles?
extremely porous!! whats the best way to seal....boiled linseed?

Boiled linseed oil. Don't leave any rags in a pile because they can spontaneously combust. I seal before laying because I'm a messy b*stard.

Boiled linseed oil, and finish with a nice wax. Look at ltp products.

One I have done this year using those methods

Nice looking work. Because they so porous will back buttering be enough? My worry is the tile absorbing to much moisture before https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ sets
