Do to time constraints on a small filled and honed travertine bathroom can I grout before sealing?(Then seal at a later date)
I know it goes against the grain, but is it possible or advisable?.......picture framing and grout haze would be possibilities?

I have grouted loads of trav without sealing first on unfilled ( I know yours is filled ) it is preferred to help grout stick into cavities

Also if using a solvent based sealer make sure you seal before siliconing as sealer can pickle silicone.

Not sure wether to use solvent or water based sealer at the minute...........Not keen on the fumes from solvents, but then not keen on the lack of longevity from water based sealers.
I always leave the siliconing til very last anyway

If used my stains top in very hot attic rooms with carbon filter mask no problems .

I agree with impish, seal it, have your lunch and get on with the grouting, then seal again before you leave

Everything is in stock at CTD - unless you need Silver Grey Mapei silicone!
