Just about to start tiling the final wall in my kitchen I've tiled all the way around up to the units and now I'm just left with the final wall which doesn't have units.
I'm setting out and to keep the level of the tiles from under the units on to the wall without units I would have to have a cut tile at the top or do I try and step it down to finish with a full tile at the top if you see what I mean? I'll try and attach a pic.

Sorry for the slightly dark pics, where the grey paint finishes is the level where they should finish. What's the general rule with things like this I can't do any more until I sort this .

If I were to cut the top tile the but would only be 40mm. So the step in difference would be 40mm it's the first wall you see as you walk into the room so I want it to look right I'm thinking the step down would look better than a cut tile?

Ok I was thinking a cut tile would look pants, so would the step up be less noticeable? The step up to a full tile would be 70mm above the original line.
