Are there any negatives to fitting a stainless steel u channel on top of a shower tray to support a glass panel? It will not be a wet room.

Thanks, Plan Tec Tiling. It will be braced to the wall and a good quality clear silicone will be used.

Waluigi, because the glass panel comes with a clear plastic channel that I thought might get mucky.

I fit wet room panels to trays all the time. Never have I done anything other than rest the glass on the tray and clear silicone. A channel is another thing to get dirty IMO

Not to hijack the thread but in the opinion of you guys who install full bathrooms what silicones are the best out there for sticking, sealing anti mould etc?
