Discuss festool diamond plunge cutter in the Tiling Tools Forum area at TilersForums.co.uk.
just ordered this , only downside , 240 v don't do it in 110v yet
Festool are some of the best built power tools I've ever come across, unfortunately they're outside my price bracket for most things.
I can’t afford them either.
Nice piece of kit, if you can run to it.
not a bad price , just over £330 with case guide rail and diamond blade , will probs upgrade the blade ,
Don’t hold back @Bathfix Bob, say what you really mean mate.
But Bathfix Bob didn’t reply?
3 fall said he couldn't afford Festool, based on pictures of his work and his London location I disagreed with the statement.
He does it for love Bob!
£330 is pennies
Only if it works!
@martin1c has mixed feelings on the subject.
Its basically an angle grinder mounted on base plate with dust extraction?
@3_fall works for nothing and lives of his navy pension
Yes it it mate, Martin last we spoke, said it was ok but didn’t rave about it.
Personally feel £330 can be better spent.
And you can achieve the same thing with a grinder, dust shroud and a straight edge.
Thats just way I look at it tho.
if only Jerry, if only!!
