hi all please help!
Just had a new bathroom installed - do we need to silicone round the shower rail attachments?
My fitter said not necessary but the mastic man said he will! I'm confused...

Ps. Think the rail is attached wrong as surely it should be chrome showing, not plastic?!

Everywhere can be siliconed...... do I do the shower rail fixings - no but I do make sure that they are screwed on correctly . A decent shower rail set comes with plastic/rubber washers.

I would of put silicone behind it as I installed it . It probably isn't done wrong as it probably won't go together any other way . Maybe check with showroom .

I use Rawl UNO plugs nowadays. Can't remember the last time I used the plugs that come with fixtures. Fischer are good too.
