Discuss Cordless vacuums, who’s got one.. in the General Off-topic Chat (nothing tile) area at TilersForums. The USA and UK Tiling Forum (Also now Aus, Canada, ROI, and more)
Sorry, not at all Christmassy but who’s got a cordless vacuum at home and which one.
I am on my second Dyson, this ones a V6 literally 6 weeks out of warranty and the damn thing is broken.
The exact thing happened with the old one, and that was repaired once under warranty.
Bloody expensive and not much good in my view so looking at alternatives now before committing to a repair.
not made in UK i don't think.
my step brother is the architect who is designing the new Dyson factory in the Philippines. Most Dyson bits are made abroad.
G-tech Air ram. Works great so the wife tells me! Only for floors though.
Got replaced under warranty after the battery melted but I'm pretty sure that was down to the electricity supply in this house. Had a Dyson once, too much form over function for me. Vax Blade 24v has good reports.

I have Dysons and wouldn't buy anything else. They do a fixed price out of warranty repair service. Done it a few times, much cheaper than buying all over again
