Hi everyone ,
I have a client that has had some WHITE composite marble tiles laid on her kitchen /lobby floor .She has told me that they absorb stains . My client has underfloor heating and wants to keep the tiles . My question is this
she has asked “Is it possible to sand them down and seal them or can they be painted ?
I haven’t been to look at the job yet but thought I would ask for some advise first , thank you all in advance
Regards Mickeyblu

The answer is possibly, but I need more information about the product. It's also likely to be quite specialist so the fact you're needing to ask the question would suggest it's probably not going to be something you're equipped for.

"Composite marble" covers a lot of possibilities and we often find it turns out to be something entirely different.

A brand name or original supplier is a good starting point.

Sait carbide sanding pads, spare tile or inconspicuous area, start with finest grit then reseal with a good quality sealer. Or you could try a good cleaner first @Lithofin BOB then reseal.
