Dip your string spacer in petrol and once adhesive is dry set alight and save yourself having to wind it in! (Like your neck) simples even a blind man can do it!

So you all use spaces on all tiles even if it's 150x75 on new stud walls?

Last time I didn’t use a spacer of any sort for a wall tile is when they had lugs on them or a bevelled back edge!

Only thing I don't use spacers on are terracotta,slate and handmade tiles because they are often different sizes

I always use spacers too, unless the tiles are the ultra-pretentious hand-made rustic affairs.
