Hi,
I'm tiling the floor of a wetroom and would like some advice on the best way to lay the tile.
I plan to use 300mm x 600mm tiles, and there is a 800x1100 wet room form installed with a 300mm linear drain.
Because the wide of the form has been trimmed, it doesn't exactly match the tile...

Hi all, I want to tile over a completely new floor. New floor joists have been installed with new 22mm flooring sheets over.
I’m thinking I need to install 6mm NoMorePly then tile.
I’m assuming the following: -
1) PU adhesive and cement screw fixing for the NoMorePly?
2) primer NoMorePly?
3)...
hello Folks,
its a tiny area. 1.8 m2. Joists are solid 3 inch wide. Area is upstairs close to joists end. Have screwed the osb every 300mm. 18 mm osb. Thinking of putting on a few coats of sbr. Area feels solid but of course I cannot really control any moisture absorption or...
I’m not happy with the quality of tiling in my bathroom. The builder says the wide, uneven and chipped edges will be hidden by the silicone. I think this will look awful. Some of the tiles are chipped and some are marked. I’d really appreciate views on whether my disappointment is justified.
Hi

We were going to have LVT flooring before but have now decided to have porcelain tiles.
I have looked at the forum and people are saying that In order to prevent the tiles to break or crack, the surface needs to...
Hi all, would like some advice. I'm currently tiling an ensuite. I'm using 60 x 30 tiles. I have tiled the floor 1st on this occasion. I came straight off the floor with a full tile and now on the last wall but floor must be 20mm out so now will have to put a slither in at bottom. Not sure I...
Can anyone help. I’ve installed an impey wet room shower tray, do I need to use the impey waterproof membrane or can I tile directly on top of the impey tray?
Hi, it's my first time here and I'm desperate to solve this problem. Can someone please tell me if there is something wrong with this tile job? I was told thick thinset is needed since we are installing 12 x 24 porcelain tile and that the look of this tile job is normal. I was told not to worry...
Hi there - I’m hoping to get some advice.
I’m a builder, based in Melbourne, Australia. I’ve recently done a few bathroom renovations, using a Universal Shower Base, where a fibreglass shower base is installed and then tiled over.
These jobs were all completed in the last few months, using the...
Hi All!
Total DIY’er here- we’re in a project house which has drained us, and one of the final jobs we need to do is the front steps.
The top step has quarry tiles which I think are original (60’s) and they’re solid and secure. Could we tile over these without removing? The tiles we’re using...

Hi,
I’m new to the tiling scene. As a camp ranger I take care of a property in Massachusetts USA. I have a handicap shower stall that I need to replace and update. It is in my main cabin on the property and I thought a stone veneer would look amazing in the stall as the building is all wood...
