sigma
Sigma (uppercase Σ, lowercase σ, lowercase in word-final position ς; Greek: σίγμα) is the eighteenth letter of the Greek alphabet. In the system of Greek numerals, it has a value of 200. In general mathematics, uppercase Σ is used as an operator for summation. When used at the end of a letter-case word (one that does not use all caps), the final form (ς) is used. In Ὀδυσσεύς (Odysseus), for example, the two lowercase sigmas (σ) in the center of the name are distinct from the word-final sigma (ς) at the end.

Quick one for those with this machine, how messy is it?
I mainly cut using a grinder outside, but hand on heart I'm getting bored with going up and down stairs umpteen times on some jobs. Want to add a reliable all round wet machine, but can't be doing with pools of water everywhere...

Hi.
I'm currently looking at investing in one of these cutters. I've currently got a rubi 1200 that's seen the best of days. I'm thinking this (Kera-Cut) along with the kera flex is going to give a lot more scope for cutting all this large format that's kicking about. Are most people happy with...
As per the title. Used for one project only and in as new condition. Paid £1038.o0 for it from pro-tiler a month or so ago. Hoping to get 75% of what I paid which equals £778.00.
I’ve a sigma kera cut with rail and seperator for sale. I’m a contractor/non tiler and this was bought for one project for our tiler to use. As such it’s in as new condition. It was bought from protiler tools a month or so ago for £660. I was hoping to get 75% of what I paid for it which equals...
I have been using my sigma 3c3m for a while now and it cuts through tiles a breeze and leaves a nice finish.... except on porcelain
I’m currently cutting 600x300 porcelain but the amount of snapped tiles is beyond a joke, eugh
Has anybody else had difficulty with porcelain on the sigmas...
the tile cutter,
here everyone wants to know which brand is the best.
but are we sure that a brand is enough to solve everything?
as we all know, every day we come across different tiles,
a hard, soft, big, small, long etc.
if I think about it, it would need a different tile cutter every day...
bought this badboy for a job I was doing, don’t like it. It’s still in original packaging and the cutter has been used twice to cut a few tiles.
Pick up from Brentford only due to the size and weight. Currently stored in my flat in the box and getting grief from the Mrs so please buy ASAP :D
I...
A few people have just recently entered the world of Sigma for their tile cutting use, myself included.
I thought it would be a good idea to start this thread for any tips on how to use these cutters.
For now, here’s a link to the Sigma Beochure which @callatiler kindly posted earlier:-...
I’ve always used sigma cutters and find them great , but I was at a show last week and got to try out the Montolit 73p with all sorts of tiles , from heavy textured to normal porcelain and ceramic tiles ! And to be honest I was very impressed! Anyone else on here have a Montolit , and if so...
