    Natural Stone Flagstones over UFH

How thick is the screed over the ufh. Generally 50-70mm. Another 40mm will warm but as mentioned take time, however it'll keep warm for even longer for to thermal mass so once up to temp wouldnt be any more to run than normal

How to grout uneven split face effect tiles

Ahhh, then tiles are a nightmare, good luck. Seal the tiles first then I prefer a grout bag to gun.

    Tile levelling 10cm x 20cm

Still wouldn't recommend it, you'd get through a serious amount of clips in no time. what substrate are they going into? If it's smooth no clips, if it's rough then correct it

    Tile levelling 10cm x 20cm

Topps gave me some to try on porcelain ages ago. Save your money, complete waste of time. Get an angle grinder with a decent blade

    Expansion gap

That's what I was hoping mate, if it was 7mm upwards I was thinking of a white trim to match conservatory. Would prefer silicon though

    Expansion gap

I'm going to be tiling a conservatory floor which has wet ufh. 3 walls are metal frame of conservatory other wall is a combination of skirting board, expansion joint to tiled floor. My question is on the 3 metal walls how much room do I leave for expansion? I'll be using colour matched silicon...

Tiles sound hollow and are coming loose

I'm going with poor technique, what was the weather at the time as if using rapid set im guessing the adhesive was going off too quickly. Even then not back buttering them is stupid

    Black Slate Shower Tray HELP!?!

Is that an MX slate effect resin tray? If so good luck im afraid. I replaced a 10 month old white version that had water marks. Water doesn't fully drain off the tray because of the texture and there being very little fall to the drain. Terrible design and replaced with a smooth finish tray.

    Soft /expansion joint

I'm fitting 18mm skirting so will aim for 10mm gap to wall. I'm confident 2mm is fine

    Soft /expansion joint

Kitchen is 11sqm of tiles laid around kitchen and not under, conservatory is 22sqm to be laid then new skirting onto. 450x450 tiles back buttered obviously. Schluter preformed is what I'm thinking best thanks

    Soft /expansion joint

I was going to use 5mm expansion joint or 5mm silicon joint at opening. Also for the sake of it also going on ditra mating just incase. 2mm joint is to match the tile which have fake 2mm grout lines crossing them. I know its not too bs but it'll look odd otherwise.

    Soft /expansion joint

Hi guys, I'm tiling a floor in a few weeks over an overlay ufh system. It's going on a kitchen through into a conservatory conversion with the doors removed to open plan the area. Kitchen and conversion will be different heated zones so need either an a expansion joint or a soft joint of matched...

Bumping an old thread here, has anyone used the Tutorcut on a dewalt dw405 grinder. Like the idea of it but concerned about fitment of it didn't fit the older 412 model

    Paddles

Which paddles are your preferred when mixing late volumes of slc. I've always used the standard paddle that came with my rubi mixer, is there anything better?

The Racatak can be had with a chest support as well which would take a load of my back, with a dolly for adh and tiles I could wheel myself around for a full bucket of adh without getting up
