Just finished a 50 metre floor with these tiles and they were the biggest piece of ***** I've ever come across! Sizy, terrible to cut and random bellys swinging both inwards and outwards! Never again!
Afternoon all..
Anyone seen or used this EGGER Protect | EGGER - https://www.egger.com/shop/en_GB/building/product-detail/PROTECT
They say you can tile directly on to it
I did a bathroom a few weeks ago for the worst 'builder' i've ever come across..
Besides all the other issues, I tried to give him a bit of friendly advice not to bother skimming plasterboard in bathrooms... and then from that he somehow understood it to mean that I was having trouble tiling...
There is definitely an art to using them correctly.. But used correctly and in the right circumstance, I personally think they are a fantastic invention
A massive part is the payment side of things mate, the fact the customer knows how much and when each stage is due..
But I'd say the fact that it gives the customers a bit more assurance that they are dealing with a real business is the best thing because since using them I'm getting more...
Would like to publicly thank @Plan Tec Tiling for his help with getting some T's & C's together... Never used them until the past few months and I have to say they have made my life easier and have also seemed to give more of a professional appearance when dealing with customers
If you don't...
evening all...
That time of year for me to renew my insurance, but this year as i've worked on a few bigger projects (not just tiling), im finding that some peeple are asking for broader insurance such as contractors all risk... what sort of level of cover has everyone got on here?
