What is the differences between the series? I am also now a Sigma fan after having used a 'pull to score' 900 on my last couple of jobs. I have several jobs that are small porcelain and so want to give a smaller Sigma a go.... I was looking at the Series 2G on Trade tiler as it seems a perfect...- Mortorman

We don't get so much in Scotland at the moment but there are plans to expand in 2017 and we will take contracts on wherever they may be in the country so there is always a chance something comes up near you. T&G boards tiling on top of????
You could use plastic ply straight over the floor boards 2mm then over the top of that with a tanking sheet 1mm, check out N&C Wet room solutions -

Thanks for that, i would have thought it would act as a defection barrier simply because it's got a foamy type material in the middle of it, but then again that could just be my lack of knowledge speaking!! Probably like most other things i have read on here, there is a bit more to it than that. -

Insulation board or Dtra matting on new sand/cement screed
Thanks Whitebeam, and like bugs would you suggest this go.......... primer, insulation board, UFH Wire, Latex, Ditr, tile? I had no idea there was so much involved in tiling, am really glad i decided to check it all out before i do it. Cheers mate -

Great stuff, thanks mate. Just out of interest if sfter laying all this down the sand/cement shrinks a bit and cracks would the insulationboard absorb this or deflect this the same way the Ditra matting would? All this stuff is very interesting, a bit addictive almost! Thanks again -

Hi Guys, my coservatory is going to be screeded on tuesday to a depth of 4inches, my plan was to leave it for one month, then prime twice, install 10mm insulation board on flexible adhesive, lay UFH wire, Latex, then tile....... Does this sound like the best way to go to you pro's? someone... -
