All that money and they choose tiles like that.... some folk have no taste.

dear mac, if the bathroom was mine
I would have come out with smooth tiles on the other side as well.
I know it may seem strange, but I'm doing one hour.
otherwise it was better to cut both sides flush with the shower.
this work I have to do what the architect says ... :(
creates only problems, 90cm tiles and 90cm shower,
he made me put 15cm in the corner to get out of the shower,
the other side is like yours, by 15 cm strip out of the shower

Most shower screens are under 2 metres and assuming that the ceiling height is at least 2.4M, you’ll see the transition between riven and smooth above the shower screen on the left hand wall, so the right hand wall should be the same. The small amount of smooth tile against the architrave won’t even be noticeable.

That’s exactly where I’m coming from

Done too many of these split faced ceramics that the look really does bore me now. Plus side is they’re porcelanosa and they’re spot on to work with.
The shower cost a fortune. 3 spray settings so 3 different sets of nozzles to same head with 3 feeds going into it and another for the microphone shower.
Stop **** is where the toilet with concealed cistern is going to be so that’s my next headache.

I suggested we use the smooth tiles on the large sill as the riven will be a muck trap and more prone to chipping. Needed 4 and only had 4 so decision made.

Got the concealed cistern fitted, moved and replaced stop **** and sorted access and finished the tile

Looks good, Mac. That Pan Looks really low.....?

I’ve not connected to stack yet so just pushed it in out the way for tile. When you pull it forward so just the waste pipe is coming out the tile face (not connector) there’s loads of play and room.
