I know there are a few people interested in these so thought I'd give my impressions of it. First time using it today. It's certainly well build and solid.
The springs in the squeasy bit arent really springs so you need to lift that which isn't the end of the world. It does get slightly more water out than a roller system after a couple of presses but it doesn't get it all out. I made a basic video to try and demonstrate this.
I used the sponge that comes with it and also a genesis sponge which I've used for some time.

I agree it's too wet after just the press and you still have to get your hand on the sponge. I have the same problem with regular washboys too

Ha ha I am actually germ free at the moment Julian!

I used two different sponges with the same result. Once it's compressed it's fully compressed so it couldn't be any more efficient really.
