hi Chris , it does look extreme , but for the sake of a two tile test to strip back at least we covered all avenues that could be possible , prior to the re polish.
the wax off if fine for limestone or any natural stone , if you have something similar, you could test that , it may make no...
Hi - impregnators or sealers can yellow or discolour for a few reasons , some will change the colour of stone or tiles without issue , they simply should be tested prior to completing a complete area.
Incorrect products being used in the wrong situation . i.e.. Some internal sealers used...
hi chris , maybe you spoke to my college on the tech line , if you had a light over application of the stain stop ( hopefully in this case) this may whiten with an acidic wash , you could test wax off ( stripper) on 1-2 tiles and see if this removes this haze , if this is acidic damage , you may...
Hi -if this is the solvent MP90 ,test one tile if you have some of the sealer left
apply the sealer generously to one tile in a discreet area , keep wet with the sealer for 6-8 minutes and scrub with a white emulsifying pad (ideally)or brush every 30 seconds/minute of the 8 min
straight after...

Sealers , impregnators ,state breathable \ to a degree!!!!!
you could strip one tile in a discreet area, trapped moisture can lead to water marking which can be irreversible . If the one tile lightens over a few days or you place heat over it to see if it lightens. strip the rest and re seal once the floor regains the colour.
Sealers can highlight...
I would first test a specific alkaline tile cleaner , we have Wexa or LTP do grimex or similar
Dilute , work over 3-4 tiles only with a white pad and brush 10-12 mins scrubbing every 1-2 mins rinse and repeat or strengthen dilution and re-test,
If you think there is old sealers applied, or a...
Did your fitter use a rubber mallet to bed these in , I've had conversations with some suppliers about this and there claiming this can cause small fractures and cracks within the individual tiles .
Temporary sealers ( these can still stain , if they break down to early)or emulsion sealers (...
It should be Possible to wet polish the individual tiles to bring up a suitable finish, will it Match the rest of the factory polished finish tiles?. I used to polish the individual tiles up to a point, then pad polish ( twister, monkey or kgs) or powder polish the whole floor to give a uniform...
As above, alkaline cleaners will generally deal with greases and dirt, you will only need to test one product. Then deal with the remaining cementisiouse contamination .
I like the sound of the first cleaner to test -as it states, acid substitute and will deal possibly with the residues you have.
Whichever you choose Pete , test on an un laid stone first . Any impregnating sealer will require the excess removed fully, generally I buff mine dry as I work through in controlled sections, no wet look finishes and let dry.
Follow the manufactures guidelines as they may state a different...
The cleaner states to " non acidically "break grout films. grouts contain polymer binders which can be broken by using an alkaline cleaner although still very difficult on textured stone. This is cement!
The cleaner can be tested, it will hopefully remove some contamination but I think generally...
