    deposits for every job even small jobs just take a smaller deposit relevant to the job cost will sort this out, used to get this sometimes too but its stopped since i went the deposit route

    employed full time with a company van and holiday pay....cant say i would consider leaving that to subby for 1 company, whats your gripes with employer cant you discuss them with him n try n even it out

    sre you currently employed by this company at present? if so how will the money differ and do you get holiday pay etc and van just now? subby does not fill me with confidence they will bin you the seconfd they feel like it,has your employer looked after you or do you feel unhappy in your job?

    small claim costs very little to raise...if you get a solicitor they will end up taking most of your money of you phil once its over.

    Do you take a deposit?

    i ask for deposits on nearly all jobs regardless of size, there was a period of a month last year when iw as really busy and didnt ask a few for deposits and hey ho it raised its ugly head again and one went elsewhere and another started mucking me about so for me the deposit upfront works.

    nice work phil, are the planks from fired earth? i also find a lot of these people think trades are the scum of the earth, generally i bite my lip on these jobs and at the end of the estimated job cost add on a lump sum for the extra materials i had to use. give them a taste of there own...

    hi christoffy, i would opt for a 6mm cement sheet as long as the sub floor is solid.
