Grouting quality - advice needed
Don't feel bad, he made the decision for you to ask him back by leaving the grout like that, I go to extreme lengths to get every last detail perfect sometimes staying till 7pm.- Bathfix Bob

Help needed re. insurance tiling job
It makes me so angry, we pay our insurance and every year it goes up and they are happy to take the money and look what we get it return, a gang of 3/10 bodgers sent round to throw tiles at the wall and give you a bathroom of new house qaulity (bad).- Bathfix Bob

Which cement board tape?

PVA WETROOM WALLS OR NO?
It will fail especially if from Victoria Plum, there stuff is unbranded chinese junk, you can't get parts. Is the fitter pressuring you to leave it in? Ask yourself this...will he be coming straight round to break tiles off and pull your bath out in 2 years when you phone him on a Saturday...- Bathfix Bob
