I priced a job yesterday via Whatsapp so I could see it. Jobs in Sheffield, I'm Nottingham. 1200x1200 15mm porcs in a new build large house. About 70 mtrs. Priced it at £30 psm labour only, sent it off by text, reply was a big laughing emoji and "you need to be nearer to £20" -

What's the "inc". If your on £250 a day and £50 psm you're knocking out 5 mtrs or there abouts a day? Lets say your on 10 mtrs. (and that's really slow in my opinion) your pocketing £500 a day, nice going. -

I work mainly multi apartment sites. Last one was getting £15 a mtr, 49 bathrooms on a floor, 7 floors. Just moved onto another one 36 bathrooms on a floor, 7 floors, getting about £18 for those. All gear lifted up to loading bays on the floors and all you do is wheel the stuff into your rooms... -

What do you mean nothing mixes as well? It either mixes or it doesn’t. My Mikita has been going about 3 years now, changed the brushes once, cost £70. I’m on sites all day so don’t have the luxury of power. (Even when I do the only thing I hook up is my grinder) I have to carry enough tools...- aytiling

Best reasonably priced mixer?
I use a cordless Makita drill with paddles from my local. 5AH battery and it lasts most of the day, at least 10 bags.- aytiling

Yep always. Makes absolutely no difference if the floor or the walls are cut in first. -

Talking about Ali express I bought 2x 115mm blades and when they arrived they were the wrong diameter for the spool. Only £7 each so threw them in the bin. Also bought a couple of 20mm hole bits and they lasted all of about a week each on ceramics, Rubbish. My one from ATS at 3 times the price...- aytiling
