My grandfather in law has recently finished a limestone job (pictured) and tried cleaning the stone with brick acid prior to sealing... He's in desperate need of a solution so if anyone knows a solution I'll be grateful to hear them

Erm. He's killed it.
Good news is there is a product that will fix it.
Bad news - I forgot the name of it.
Bare with me....

I'd suggest a really good wash before using it though, and make sure everything is dry.

Trust me on this, there's no better product for this one. I can't say how I know, but I know!
(this product has been tested by rather miffed sealant companies who are going to copy it)

I just sent him the good news but he's worried that the limestone he's laid is grey....

Looking at the videos and how it restores acid marked stone it does look good.

Limestone is actually pH neutral dissolved in water, but it is an alkaline agent.
The acid used had released /created calcium salts.

(that's technical for "he gone done goofed")
