I have been asked to quote for re-doing a failed kitchen floor and as part of the quote need to price for a complete removal and re-fit of the kitchen.
Before I approach a kitchen fitter though, do you think it's possible to remove and safely reinstall silestone island tops?
This kitchen has two and one has a cut out for the sink.
I'm kind of thinking there is a big risk in them breaking?
Any experience of this?

Not something I've ever got involved with but they got them on there, or did the do the cut out in situ? Ask the owner. perhaps your sigma frame might help give it some strength if you do decide to remove it

Shouldn’t be a problem, but will depend on how well they have been fixed on.
They are normally just silicones in place due to the weight.
If you can get to all the edges then run a Fein round and it should come off.
They are pretty strong.

It’s fairly robust material Mark.
Only contract a kit installer that will take responsibility for worktops. :D

Last couple I’ve done, I’ve just removed doors, drawers and decor panels and went around them.

Assuming it doesn’t have mitred side panel(s) you might be ok.

Don’t underestimate the weight of this stuff. It’s phenomenal.

If it were marble chances are it will break. Silestone being quartz is more forgiving though and helpfully lighter (less heavy is probably more accurate) than either marble or granite, even at 30mm thick.

Your biggest issue will be how it's been attached to the cabinet tops, a good installer will have siliconed the entire perimeter of cabinet where the slab touches.

You'll also probably find shims between the top and the cabinet which is levelling the whole top at the joins.

It's possible but it's something I would ask an experienced granite/quartz installation company to perform.
