Contractor told me to get five bags of adhesive, no further info!
Tiles are 20x10 7mm ceramic metro tiles. Roughly 3m2.
Surface is skimmed and primed plasterboard.
Mapei options i was considering: Rapid Set (20kg), Kerabond T or Keraquick.
Not sure flexible adhesive is necessary, but i guess i only need one bag so price isn't really an issue.
Any thoughts?

As above 1 only 10 litre bucket of BAL white star adhesive is all you need, most tile shops stock this, CTD etc

If in doubt, my 'thought' would've been to ask the 'contractor'. Only he knows why you'll need 5 bags for a 3m job.

I assume he meant 5kg bags. Tbh, after working with him for several months now, i find it best to ask him as little as possible!

He does not care if i buy too much as I'm paying!
Would Greenstar be ok (given its only kitchen)?

Honestly?
Metros on new plastered walls for a kitchen splashback, you've worked with, or for him for several months, and we're honestly needing advice on what adhesive to buy?

Obviously its not DIY, so am I right in presuming you should know a little bit about the adhesives

Think you may have misunderstood. I'm the homeowner! I have no idea about adhesives ;-)

Apologies! Didn't realise this was not permitted.

My apologies then!

It would be Mapei P9 for me, or Ultra Standard set, both White adhesvies, if using white grout on the walls.

5 is still way too much for 3m kitchen walls though
