Skeiling tiling....?! - Tile Advice

Quick(ish) question...
Have a bathroom to tile in a barn conversion we are currently doing.
The bath has a ceiling mounted shower head and the skeiling slopes away along the length of the bath.
the skeiling has been prepped with OSB with 12mm taped Jackoboard on top.
Am I ok to use a 600x300 ceramic tile on the skeiling or should I stick to metros/mosaics?
Also is there a preferable adhesive to use?

Before and after.

Tile them all the time, obviously with weight considerations.
No reason why you can't use ceramics with it going to backerboard as long as it's securely mechanically fixed.
Adhesive?
A good one!
A decent S1, or S2 if you feel happier.
