can anyone help me to find a job or have any contacts for jobs in canada. i live in england but wish to move out there.

First step would be contact the canadian embassy

there is up to a 4 year waiting list to get into canada supposedly at the moment if your not sponsored by a company to go over and work

i didnt realise it was that long. does that mean i have to find a firm to work for or do they advrtise for jobs. cheers

hi adam,im not entirely sure,its just co incidence i called the canadian embassy today to ask about applying and they said a 3 month wait till you even get a letter acnowleding your application has been received,and a 4 year wait list at the moment there has been a massive surge of people applying,,no doubt due to the current financial situation in the uk. my brother is moving there in 3 weeks and fast tracked the whole process as he has an academic job in a university and they are sponsoring him to go over.i think for most people you have to go through the points system which may well be lengthy mate

I know two people who've left the UK, 1 went to Canada, 1 to New Zealand.

Both used emigrate2 to help them get over their, the road shows are supposed to be very helpfull.
