A couple of months ago I asked if anyone recalled an article on making your own blades for the Fein tool. Since I received no answers - other than Don, himself - I went back through all the past issues that I still had on hand, and lo and behold, there it was. The article is by Bob Kelland of St.John's, Canada, and appears in Taunton's January 2008 "Fine Homebuilding" Issue #192. I can now attest to the fact that it works just "fine." (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun!)

I had a contract years ago strimming grass at the channel tunnel, we got paid 4 pence sqm, we made are own blades we put on flymo mower blades. Christ you could cut some grass and i had very short toe nails if i wasnt careful...then health and safety stopped us.
