    Default Don't Let the Customer Rush You, Ever.

    You know the scene, you've just signed a contract, and begin tear-out/prep, maybe not on the same day, buy never-the-less.......you've only just begun.

    And then you find out, the general consensus is "C'mon, this shoulda been done a week ago, and why is this wall out of plumb?, or does this tile really line up with this tile? Is that a 16th of a inch on a binge.....looks like an 8th to my eyes. "Be careful on this stained concrete, it scratches easily."

    Well, well, well.....these and many more are the reasons a guy just can't risk it. I let the client know, in a respectful.....polite way, "Hey, you're paying me good money, I won't do anything less than perfect, however, I cannot afford to rush this." In this instance, EVERYTHING is in STONE, which means I don't want to come back in 1 year or 10 years to fix anything! Yessir, generally speaking, the Tile Job should outlive the TileSetter.

    Simple as that, because the same fellow that tries to put an impossible deadline on you and yours, is there upon completion talkin' 'bout "you sure it's level.....what about this little......maybe this stone and that stone......but how come.....remeber you said you'd build......do-overs: cant we just take it out and start from scratch?"

    You see?!

    We are meticulous individuals working for very particular clientel, right? How many Engineers, Architects, and Astronauts have you worked for lately. I deal with the first two quite frequently, and the last......sometimes.
    (They Travel Outer Space believe me, don't always take the rocket)

    I love em' all, we just gotta be pointblank, and real. Don't voice something unrealistic if it doesn't make sense, or is near impossible.

    I know we all set goals, and have the best of intentions.....just don't wanna see anyone beating themselves up for being "Slow".......it's much better to be the Tortoise than the Hare in this trade.
