Discuss Travatine on walls in the US & Canada at TilersForums; Does anyone have pictures of walls tiled with dark travatine? I would like to do one wall with it, but I would like to see what other people did first....

    Default Travatine on walls

    Does anyone have pictures of walls tiled with dark travatine? I would like to do one wall with it, but I would like to see what other people did first.

    Bathrooms travertine but I wouldn't call it dark, blends in with sandstone grout. Haven't grasped the download photo bit yet either!
    I sure some one will come up with the goods!

    Go to google images and type in dark travertine and lots of stuff pops up.
    You may have to wade through lots of pages, but it should give you what you need.

    Yes, they call it Walnut sometimes. It looks marvelous on walls, especially tumbled Wanut Travertine, from Mexico/not Turkey. It's one of the few things Wal-Mart doesn't have in stock.

    Consider 'Bone' grout, and perhaps some semi-transparent Cream/Glass accent tiles as a Border.
