Default norton wet cutter

dont use a wet cutter normally but got small granite job coming up so saw this cutter on offer in ctd. £85 with a free mp3 player as well and its got a carry case. anyone got one or know if its any good? wont get used much but would i be better investing in a new blade?

Never used it, but if you're going for a cheap cutter, atleast get a blade intended for granite. Using a blade meant for ceramics on granite is slower and wears the blade alot faster.

make sure you get the 240v if you dont have a transformer. Some of them at CTD are 110v. Look half decent but its all in the blade but Norton i think are belters!

got the 110v as my grinder is 110. think i will invest in a new blade for granite just to make it easier. anyone recommend a decent one or shall i just get a marcrist?

Well if the little cutter is anything like my Norton M108 Table saw it will be brilliant. Do you have any links to it. Norton are made by St Gobain as far as I am aware who in turn manufacture some of the best diamond blades in the business.

its the 180 bm model used it today on stone mosaic and it flew through them no probs
