The trainer on my course said how great they were, but never managed to make a hole without breaking the tile! He kept blaming the tiles, but I'm not so sure!!!!!

What I am suggesting is that you don't have to spend a fortune on fancy tools if you know what what you are doing. A good tiler usually keeps their tools for years if they are looked after properly.
I'll give that a try then. I had no idea they would put a hole in Marble! Thanks

I use mine regularly. Great for pipes or wires on thin wall tiles. Not really much slower than a drill by the time you get it out of the van and set it up. If the tile is too thick for the lockboy I'll just take the shield off the wetsaw and cut the square out of it.

the hole boy tool is a great piece of kit but only really works well on ceramic walls tiles doesnt touch porcelain i first used one in 1992 and used to bring them back from germany for some of my mates but since the tile manufactures seem to be bringing in more and more porcelain for walls you would be better off investing in some good quality diamond core drills
