I am proposing to lay Amtico vinyl tiles on my kitchen floor. Amtico recommend that you roll the tiles into the adhesive 1 -2 hours after laying, using a 100lb (45kg) tile roller. I have tried many tool sites but have been unable to locate such a tool. Does anyone out there know where I could purchase or hire one of these rollers?
mike, you can hire from your local hss a grass roller. its plastic and lightweight to transport and then on the job you fill it with water and get the weight. hope this helps.
when a roller was not about and as a work around, we used the back end of the brush apply all your body pressure to it and walk in straight lines, this will bed the vinyl into the addy
however we use to do it more or less straight away not 2 hrs after
