Default stolen tools

its a long shot but no harm in putting the word about.........had the van screwed last night and some gear nicked.........from the heaton area so wondered if anyone around that area who might be offered some gear might let me know if they do....

dry cutter in black case......green steel base with plain black cutting deck...(one of north east tiling training)

2 x ryobi twin drill packs...18v driver and a impact driver in cases.

bosch corded jig saw in green bosch case.

few other bits but nothing that could be sold on...

as i said its a long shot but worth asking.
cheers

Barstewards!
I'd love to say good luck getting them back, but i think they'll be long gone.
Have you contacted the police? What was their attitude like?

phoned the police this morning and they have an "appointment" at 4.30 so haven,t actually seen anyone yet........i guess these days van break ins are the least of their worries.................hold little hope of getting them back unless they are stupid enough to offer them around the streets.....i,ve been offered stuff before from the local toe rags and at my last address the kid who stole my bike was daft enough to ride it up and down the street 2 days later so i got that back.............where there are brainless thieves there is always hope!!!

Sorry to hear of your plight regarding your tools, but i fear along with everyone else that the police will not be too helpful, you will get a crime number and that's it!
Best of luck in getting them back, but i think you know the score there.
This is what should happen to them!!

Sorry to hear that mate. Are you insured on your tools? I noticed on our Insurance Quote Form there's an option to add on 'a value' of tools. I suppose as always though it doesn't always get used.

I wish you all the best and cross my fingers for you.

Any tips for the future? Never leave your tools in the van. Maybe at least get a sticker on it saying there are no tools in the van over night. Or something.
