I Had A Tip Off About The Dw250n By A Few Tilers And A Dave From Trade Tiler And Another 2 Retailers..

They Said Go For The Dw200n,,the Reason Was, The Dw250n Has Been Know To Cut Off Line Due To The Size If The Diameter Of The Blade. Also Alot Have Been Coming Back Due To A Poor Design Regarding The Guarde When Plunge Cutting, It Tends To Break As Its Only Held On By 2 Small Screws. This Has Been Such A Problem That Dave At Trade Tiler Is Not Actually Advertising Them On His Site, ALTHOUGH HE CAN ORDER YOU ONE IF YOU WANT IT?

I Was Told That The Dw200n's Only Slight Disadvantage Was There Was No Lever To Plunge (although Plunging Can Be Done) I Was Also Told That Due To The Smaller Blade, The Cutting Length Was Slightly More, Add To The Fact That The Dw200n Is 30 Pound Cheaper And The Blades Are Around 25 Pound Cheaper Then Its A Wise Option...

The Fact That You Can Cut Deeper (more Tilres On Bed) Is Also Deflected Slightly By The Lack Of Extra Power..

Just Something For You To Consider?

I have recently bought a DW 250n. Only real problem I have had is that the main measuring plate was not set correctly and the tiles didn't cut at 90deg. I have now re-set it myself so it is OK. Big and heavy though and throws off enough water to irrigate Namibia. With my Marcrist blade I am confident it will cut anything I need to with it.

If Neil from BB tools wants to PM me with a very special price..........I would'nt grumble

As mentioned.......Tiles are getting bigger and bigger, and porcelain is getting chuffing harder and harder

My ND200 is moaning at me now and then..............and try getting a straight cut on a 600mm very rough faced porcelain

Cheers Neil.
