Default makita 18v lithium ion battery kit

hi,

i was looking at buying this kit for tiling.

what do you think of the screw gun ? is 55mm adeqaute for securing 25mm ply to joists

the drill looks good enough 3 speed hammer etc

and the jigsaw is the only thing that might not get used or am i wrong

any help welcome, this kit would be used for bathroom alteration use, was gonna get the naked circ saw aswell, 165mm at £120

you will use the jig saw when fitting plywood cutting out holes fot pipes or round shower trays.

Nothing is imposable it just costs more

I'd shop round coz if you're not likely to use the jigsaw, then that is a really expensive torch and bag!

Try looking for them individually, screwfix / THS tools group members / local independent engineers merchants etc.

Li-Ion batteries are good though - outlasting NiCd by a mile.

cheers guys

i have looked around, the only way you get them cheaper is to buy the drill with 2 batteries from a uk supplier with a 240v charger and then buy the batteries and bare units from ebay (usa imports) £64 pound for the circ saw!! the only problem is , i may get hit for import tax on del. and then theres the credit cards rate for int purchase. it doesnt bother me that there from the us, thats not an issue (unless they need returning)
