    Default Tile cutter for a newby?

    Hello, I'm just starting out and I've got a couple of small jobs coming up for family and friends so I'm looking for the best tile cutter I should buy for a beginner, any advice would be welcome,

    there are so many to choose from , what size tiles are we talking about, and what material they are made of, you might be better of with a rubi, then as you advance go for a pro cutter like a sigma

    The tiles are a 200x100 bevelled edge ceramic wall tile mate, I've been looking at the rubi cutters but there's so many to choose from.

    Rubi will be your best bet, Sigma's are ok for DIY but serious tilers use RUBI..

    as they're small tiles and you probably don't want to spend a packet i believe montolit do a small cutter for i believe £36 i paid a lot more for my baby sigma. good luck.

    A diy cutter will do the job for 1 or 2 then if your serious about it you can upgrade later.

    If your only planning on doing a few jobs, with small format ceramics(TT-1222) Rubi STAR-40-N PLUS Manual Tile Cutter

    Rubis are easy enough to use

    Check it out on trade tiler

    + Buy yourself a grinder and a half decent diamond blade for the L shaped cuts
