One of these from screwfix (£129) will easily do your adhesives, b&q do one that is branded in their own name, i think it is £99 and it's identical bar the colour. I have used the above one for 2yrs mixing plaster and it has never let me down..Mark

Talking of flames, had a water leak in my kitchen for a couple of weeks and couldn't find the leak to save my life.

Any way, I didn't want to work last saturday, but the client insisted, so I had an early night and got up at 6am.

I was in the kitchen when I heard an odd buzzing noise, then dark grey smoke from under the sink area. I opened the cupboard, and F*** me, a socket was in flames. Into the downstairs loo, shut off the leccy, then pulled the plugs out. Fuwww.

The leak was from a corroded dish washer pipe and was leaking onto the wall plug. My mate fixed it all that day.

I thank that client for saving my families life.

I'm not religious but sounds like devine intervention to me! Glad the outcome was good.
