    Default Tripod for dewalt 088k

    Hi everyone
I know there's a lot of us on here with the dewalt lasers,
Just bought myself one for crimbo but can't find a tripod of any use.
It really needs to be adjustable from 200-600mm but that seems to be the height range not covered by most????
Can anybody point me in the right direction please

Have you considered using a pole instead? My old laser died and I've just replaced it with the 088 but I prefer to use an extending pole with it

Not seen one of these, does it wedge in floor to ceiling and clamp to it?

yes mate, some are telescopic and some screw together. They are spring loaded on the end so you extend it up to the ceiling or door frame and lock it in place. Mine was about £20 off ebay and has plastic bracket that the laser screws on to thats easy to adjust up and down. Defo worth a look IMO

I've got a tripod too but being a clumsy sod tend to find myself knocking it all the time, especially in small rooms!

What do most people tend to use then? Only pole I can find is a Stanley or Bosch for about £60

I have the Dewalt tripod made for it. In fact I have a couple but if you want something quite small in the 200-600mm range I would look at camera tripods instead (Same thread as I often use my lazer tripod for my camera too)
