Default Carpenter's Pencil, ruler and level in one. Works like a torpedo level with magnet!

Have any of you men seen a carpenter's pencil like this?

I just ordered a wack to give out as Christmas gifts to my guys and sub trades.

Would like to know what you think of them or if there is a UK equivalent?

I have a pretty funny thread going on here; At The Lumber Desk Today, This Guy Gave Me A "Chubby" ( Seven Inches! ) - Construction - Contractor Talk

I'm not sure if the term "Chubby" has the same meaning in the UK as it does here in Canada. Maybe "Woody" is better.

    Merry Christmas Men.

    Chubby's Carpenter Pencils

Here is a link to the guys website.

It's a Canadian boy who invented them. A mason who was tired of paying his guys to search for levels and tape measures. Jake tells me he was watching his guys go at it and then noticed they all had their pencils in their ball hat or behind their ear. If they could hang on to a pencil perhaps they would be able to keep all the things in one spot.

    Then the "Chubby" was born!

I love this little pencil and use it every day. A huge time saver!

The rulers a waste of time once you've sharpened it. It would have been better if the ruler was the other way around.

measurements are printed on both sides of pencil and start from the other end so it doesnt matter
