Discuss glue gun in the Tiling Tools at TilersForums; hi all,does anyone use a glue gun for sticking down ufh wires? if so what make model...any help appreciated...

    Default glue gun

    hi all,does anyone use a glue gun for sticking down ufh wires? if so what make model...any help appreciated

    I have a glue gun, Tec 710 I think. i use it sometimes but not always. The choice of glue sticks is important too, yo can get some quicker setting and some that are more suitable for sticking to wood, boards and screed etc.

    Display reps have the best glue guns and we used to have one for our showroom.
    Now the wife has a small one (not me) for doing her flower arranging.
    Have you seen the price of glue sticks!
    Just mix up the fast set adhesive a bit stiffer and float over the wires - dries in an hour.

    Please note a rubber squeegee is recommended to use when covering the wires.
