Rubi Ts plus
Hi, I'm a Plumber doing an increasing number of tiling jobs. Have been offered a good price on a TS plus but was wondering if anyone thinks it would be best to spend a little more and go for one of there more professional ranges.
Majority of my work is ceramic but seeing more and more porcelain.
Cheers.

Re: Rubi Ts plus
Go for a TX IMO. The TS will be fine on ceramics but could struggle on some porcelain.

Re: Rubi Ts plus
I think the TS is a brilliant cutter. It will do 99% of your jobs without any problem at all, its easy to use, its light and easy to move around, doesnt take up much space and its a very good price for the amount of use you will get out of it. The TX is a much better machine but it is a lot more expensive and takes up a lot of room and weighs a lot. If you were saying that you were going to become a full time tiler i would agree with the above but if you are talking the odd bathroom or kitchen, I would go for the TS myself.
