Oh and 2 white china graph pencils..![]()

And if you fancy one then they are here>>>>> Tradetiler Tilers 115mm (4 1/2") Wheels (angle grinder)

I need a new blade as it happens, what is the width of this one (doesn't say on the website) and how long could I expect it to last?

Not sure on the width but I do agree its a very nice wheel. The smaller size is very thin though.

1.2mm thick Bri with a reinforced center for curve cutting etc..
These cut extremely quick and have a lot more meat to them than any other blade i have used.. i would say about 10mm deep of cutting disc diamond..
You will not be disappointed with one..

I'll give one a blast, seems a reasonable price at 40 quid.

How does it compare to the marcrist ck850? Similar price (I've not tried either by the way!)

Its better than the Marcrist IMO and I am a Marcrist fan.

The Monty it is then!

No comparison IMO.... i have the marcist 200mm blade and this monty one is super quick..
Dave @ TT was saying that he and a rubi guy went head to head with dave on the monty blade and the rubi guy with that same type of blade that snapped on me..
Dave cut all the way along the length of a 300mm porc tile before the rubi guy had gone 2 inches in.
Speaks for it's self hey..![]()

I've been using the QEP glass blades for as long as I can remember in the grinder, very good blades but, and its a big but, I bought 20 last April and I put the last one on the grinder this morning!!!!!!!!! 20 blades in 18 months is a little pricey!!!

20 blades..?.. you are supposed to cut tiles with them.. not use a frizbies..![]()

I used to use the grinder for everything, it's gone into semi-retirement now the dewalt is in my tool selection! Oh and those QEP blades are meant to be wet cut only, never bothered with the water bit!

i had that blade as well and will be my next one..ill be ordering tonight after seeing the rubi buckled wheel brigade i dont fancy that happening to me on a job

its tempting to go for cheap blades but like anything, they are cheap for a reason and you go through them too easily. Montolit are excellent blades. i used to like marcrist but i buy montolit all the time now. they have a good range all round range and as dave said, they last!

Ideal Dave, been looking at this blade for a few weeks now but wasnt sure whether to buy this or go for another marcrist.
You have made my mind up.
My big marcrist in my dewalt has a chunk out of it, not sure what happened to it but its getting sent back, I saw your post a while ago about the DNA blade so im going to treat myself to 1 of those boys also.

You will not be disappointed with those blades..
