unless you use a dustless setup ie auto vac and grinder wonderful things. we have three of them always borrowed by our subbies. we use them all the time to skim over any concrete substrate.

    thanks guys.

I need to take off 3 high points in a kitchen. They are about 10mm high, and run the width of the kitchen (1.5m) and about 20cm in length.

There were originally studded walls where the high point are. I think many years ago when screeding the floor they curled the concrete upwards to the walls mayby with a trowel instead of keeping it nice and flat.

Think ill try and get my hands on an sds drill first... I might then try my angle grinder on any stubborn bits....

yep your right will take alot of slc for 10mm ,will need to be chopped back then tidy up with grinder then put a straightedge over it then slc any low points or to tidy up where you have chopped down a bit too much. dont forget this is the most important part of the job so take your time
